Erica Trabulsi - Chef + Owner

I grew up in a multi-cultural, food-loving family, where I discovered my passion for cooking at around age 10. I started working in professional kitchens in 1996, and since then I've manned the stoves at fine-dining restaurants in Hamilton, Oakville, Mississauga, and Toronto.

My passion for teaching and sharing my love of food with others drew me to a career as a chef instructor in 2010. I have taught hundreds of students in recreational classes, professional chef training programs, and corporate team building activities. 


I started Briar Hill Gourmet in July 2021 in the Bay Ridges neighbourhood of Pickering, when I noticed what a large community of foodies there were in the region. We moved to Innisfil in the summer of 2023 and are now serving the Simcoe County area.


You will find me cooking just about every day but when not in the kitchen, I'm an avid reader, trivia-buff, and music lover.
